We stayed at Tomjachu Bush Retreat for a few days and it was absolutely amazing! The location was breathtaking, with beautiful sunrises and a true feeling of being in the bush. The rock lodge with its own plunge pool was a perfect oasis in the heat. The meals were incredible, and the staff, particularly Cheryl, were exceptional. We even got to spend time fishing with Jack and his dog, surrounded by giraffes, zebras, and impalas. The highlight was the 5-course bush meal under the stars, combined with a mini game drive with the incredible Lisa Marie. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all friends and family.
I do recommend this hotel.

As a solo female traveler visiting Nelspruit for work, I was delighted to be just 10km from the city center yet feel like I was on a fabulous bush holiday. Walking alone in the evenings was a treat, and encountering giraffes and buck along the way added a touch of magic to my experience. The lodge itself was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean, with modern bathrooms that added to the overall comfort. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the meals served were absolutely delicious. The highlight was being able to go for walks surrounded by zebras, impalas, kudus, and giraffes, and then returning to relax in our own private pool. it was an amazing stay!
Would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food, from breakfast to dinner, was jaw-droppingly delicious. The highlight of our stay was going for a walk and being surrounded by zebras, giraffes, and more. And to top it all off, having our own private pool was truly amazing. our experience was unforgettable and we can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the lodge. The furniture had a traditional country feel, with comfortable seating and beautiful fireplaces. The hotel's general areas were spacious, allowing for easy navigation even for senior people like myself. I also appreciated the accessibility features in place, such as ramps and handrails, which made it easier for me to get around.
I would have preferred if the children working there were a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Tomjachu Bush Retreat Villa. the location in the Bush provided a peaceful retreat and a wellness-promoting environment. We enjoyed delicious and filling breakfasts, thanks to the talented chef and kitchen staff. One of the highlights of our stay was the morning hike, guided by Charles who was truly exceptional. We felt like we discovered a hidden treasure in this company. With stunning views and just a short drive from Nelspruit, it was the perfect getaway. the dinner menu is a must-try, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our schedules, even providing dinner in our room after our Inniebos event. the breakfast packs they provided for our day trip to Kruger Park were a thoughtful touch. we were pampered and enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

We had the most amazing time at a beautiful retreat in the South African bush. The accommodation was outstanding, with breathtaking views from the balcony of our room. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The trails on the property were well-marked, allowing us to encounter various wildlife such as hartebeest, wildebeest, giraffe, and even a zebra family that joined us for breakfast. The views from this retreat were absolutely stunning, with rolling mountains and scattered rain showers in the distance. It was such a peaceful and tranquil setting, allowing me to relax and unwind.
One downside of this retreat was the limited food options. This might not suit everyone's preferences.

Had an amazing Easter weekend at a bush retreat! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, from the warm welcome to the extra attention and care they provided. The landscape was breathtaking, with untouched natural beauty all around. The rooms were cozy and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights was the wildlife we encountered, including zebras and giraffes, adding to the incredible experience.
While the check-in process was smooth, we felt that some information about the trails and access to the reserve gate was lacking. However, it didn't significantly affect our overall experience.
